“It doesn’t feel truthful to call DOTM  a retreat, it’s a life changing journey that i think every woman on this planet should experience. Every woman should experience the love, the holding of one another, the tenderness, the softness. DOTM is something so unique on this planet that it is really difficult to describe it. If we all lived like we lived on DOTM, I believe there wouldn’t be chronic diseases, no wars…we would live in harmony. I truly believe that the work that Alexis is doing, is taking women back to their origins of how we used to live in simplicity and love - what the modern world has taken away from us. 

I have been so disconnected from my feminine essence for such a long time and going back to this wisdom has been so transformational. All the women i met at the retreat were incredible, it was so special to go there without introducing ourselves based on what we do and how old we are and where do we come from but instead see one another based on our energy/emotions without any prejudice or fear of judgment - it really changed my view of the world. The whole venue was magical, the pyrenees were gorgeous, and you could feel the love, care & honesty in everybody present.

It’s rare nowadays to feel so much truth, because everyone is wearing a mask. But here everyone was just in their raw, authentic self. The small details we experienced like not having mirrors, not using our phones, was already so life changing. On top of that all the care we received from Alexis and her team of facilitators made us feel like we were family even though most of us met for the first time. It felt like we were sisters connected by blood. It was really life changing for me and everyday I am integrating this experience into my life. What I have experienced at Daughter of the Mountain I cannot unsee anymore, it has changed my life and I will forever be grateful for it. I wish that all women (and men) will experience something like this in their lifetime.”

“Finding the right words for my experience in Daughter of the Mountain isn’t an easy task. I wasn’t aware how powerful it would be for me. The way Alexis curated a space with women who are all on the same path was a very magical experience and I feel like we were all meant to be there.

I’ve had a truly magical and divine experience and I’m still processing the insights and moments that we got to share with the women in the circle. The Spanish pyrenees is a sacred and magical place in and of itself. I’ve had big breakthroughs throughout the week, because I felt so deeply held by the women. “This is something I will never forget for my entire life. It was absolutely life changing. As Alexis promised, DOTM was not a retreat it was a returning, a deep remembering process, a somatic journey of the heart.

There were so many beautiful, heartfelt women that made this an exquisite experience. It was so intensely touched by the entirety of the experience. Alexis is absolutely magical, and incredible, along with Claire, Anne Sarah and Kim - everybody was amazing. It was a deep practice of stillness and intentionality that I’ve never lived before, that allowed me to look inward. There were epiphanies I had that I didn't know were inside of me. So many seeds were planted of  how I want to live my life with this depth of intentionality, stillness and presence. For me DOTM was about learning to savor life, every single moment, big and small. The intention behind every single aspect of this retreat was exquisite, there was so much attention to detail and we were held so beautifully and lovingly. The venue, Casa Cuadrau was amazing, it felt like you were being held in the mountains arms. The shala was the womb of the whole experience and each facilitator was absolutely incredible at their craft and superpower.”

“Daughter of the mountain was beautiful beyond words. My soul has been touched, being surrounded by these beautiful women that I really call my sisters. The feeling of being up in the mountains, feeling so safe , so grounded, so rooted, so taken care of - it was like “here are your roots.”

My ancestors were really close, like being with my grandparents and feeling their wisdom and their warmth and you knowing you are safe and loved. I felt like it was totally ok to just be me. The  mountains made me slow down, made me remember what it is to be in this soft feminine energy, and from that place you really feel the connection with ancestors, nature, the divine, and with your true self.

We all felt so connected to each other, it was so beautiful, so heart warming to feel this connection to the other women. I am trying to describe the feeling, but it’s impossible to put into words how I feel and how i felt about this journey. One thing is certain, it was one of the biggest experience of my life. I will cherish it, I will take it with me forever and I am so grateful for this beyond beautiful experience.”

My experience at Daughter of the Mountain is up there with my wedding.
